Its been a while since my last post mainly because i could not use my computer for 2 weeks due to the Power supply dying and I only got it fixed 3 days ago. I only have another 4 days at school and then we have 2 weeks off easter…I have 2 essays to write and 1 essay to modify before Easter otherwise the teachers will go crazy…

I have just completed my first week back at school after a week off and it was boring..as you’d expect. I have a new tutor..again called Miss Thacker. Friday has the most boring lessons, I either have 3 hours of French and 2 of history or vice versa. I should be ordering a new computer stuffs next week. (New graphics card and a jack for my Audio system).
You may of noticed that I’ve added a new section to the blog called “Game related stuff”, thats where i will post Game videos or pictures of crazy things. I’ve also updated the Contact page to contain the specs of my computer that I got in April of last year and My Windows live ID.
Skin updaterys
The new version of wlm has been released which means recoding and redesigning the majority of my skins. I’m abut half way through redesiging Dark duck and I will not be “porting” duck live to the latest wlm version instead I am working on an entirely new skin based around Alma Wade (the freaky girl from F.E.A.R) thats only about 10% complete atm =p

The Summer holidays have started. Its epic. srsly its Epic. butttttttttt when I go back to school the tutor i had for most of the year will be gone. He’s leaving to teach some bitches in Bristol. Which means i’ll probably have Mrs Richardson, a really dull tutor who wants silence all the time ¬¬.

Anyway, today i handed my options sheet in and I’m hoping to get ICT, Geography, History and French. At lunch a year 8 kid got knocked out whilst playing “British Bulldog” people say that he fractured his spine. An Air Ambulance came and took him away..to hospital. This week i have 3 days of school and due to a teacher training day..i have friday, and next monday off and then on the 4th of april i gets 2 weeks off for easter..

Its been ages since the last public update, basically I was struggling for time to get this skin to a stage where i can release it, This skin is still beta, things are needing to be fixed, updated and removed.
Many things have been updated/added, there are now 15 options to customize Messenger, It looks better than 0.5 did

Dark Duck is another skin for windows live messenger, It will only be compatable with 8.5. As you can guess its a Dark skin. This skin won’t have as much options as Duck Live but most of messenger will be skinned

A couple of posts ago, i mentioned that before the new year i would post a screenie of what to expect in duck live!, i forgot and continued work on it, but now i think its just about ready for a screenshot, it has 2 themes at the moment, “Default” and “Simple”, it also has a lot more options and visual tweaks…the picture will explain it all.
Obviously i will make improvements to default, i already have a couple of ideas for the improved default theme
i doubt it’ll be done anytime soon, got loads of stuff to do at the moment, maybe next month, thats when i have a week (or two) off school, so i’ll work on it 24/7 getting it prepared for the non-beta release

Yesterday, was the last day of school..for 2 weeks, t’was quite a fun half day to be honest, first i had maths, we had a quiz, and my team, “Santa’s Bacon Butties” (Random team name
) Came second, which is awesome considering in previous attempts we crashed and burned, which also meant we get a terrys chocolate orange bar thing each ..Then we had music, with a stroppy old guy, suprisingly it was quite a fun lesson, we listened to people play their Ground Bass, we couldnt show ours, because the mac we were doing it on, got stolen
, during the lesson, The teacher got a phone call, so he went outside for about 5 minutes, then when he came back in, he seemed happier, so then we played Hangman, and my teacher was having fun :O…After that we had Science, first we had to right down some stuff, but i never did, then we had a quick quismas quiz, the teacher hardly gave us anytime in doing the questions, so i put random stuff down like Bananas, Cat, Barber, Murder and Hair, suprisingly we got them all right except from 18 (the quiz was out of 20), once that had finished it was the dreaded assembly, it was funny though, everything went wrong, the sign languagers people’s cd kept skipping bits of the song, and they were like wtf, so they put a different cd in and it worked…sorta, after that it was the brass instrument players, i had a feeling it was going to go all wrong, but it didnt, but it did make me laugh..(brass instrument sounds make me laugh =p…
After that it was time to go home w00t..

Duck Live 0.5 was released on the 13th of december, basically as a little preview of what is to come in the big release, 1.0, now, i can announce that DL (duck live) 1.0 will be out in the new year, basically because i have given myself days off for christmas
, it’ll come with a range options, from Changing the Gradients to Removing the WL Branding, maybe even 9.0 compatibility if can be bothered with it and if people want it for 9.0 …Before the end of 2007, i will release a screenshot, showing the new stuff you can expect to come in the Final release of DL
This will most likely be my last post before christmas, unless anything big comes up, So i’d like to wish everyone a merry Christmas, remember its not all about the presents, to me its about getting the family together and having a good time

This is my first ever skin for windows live messenger (same for loads of other people to), Its called Duck Live! (couldn’t think of a better name
).This skin has 3 User Options, Remove The Windows Live Search bar, Remove Mail icon from the dash and Remove Contact List background, more to come in future releases…

Well this afternoon (uk time) patchou released the new messenger plus live version 4.50 which includes the brand new skinning engine..
After about 4 hours of thinking of a skin, i finally put pen to paper and starting coding the skin, ive done about 4% of it at the moment…=/
